Surrounded by centuries of architecture, hip bistros and boutiques, and one of the most coveted residential neighborhoods in Philadelphia, this park is a favorite hangout for everyone from posh society and business-types to wannabe hippies, budding sweethearts and young families.
Once predominantly a daytime destination, Rittenhouse Square is now a popular nightspot as well, with a string of restaurants — including Rouge, Devon, Barclay Prime and Le Jardin — that have sprouted up along the east side of the park on 18th Street, plus several more in close proximately a block or two in any direction.
