City Hall
15th Street and Market Street Philadelphia, PA 19107
The stage is set for 20th-century growth when the construction of the nation’s largest City Hall began in 1871. Today, you can visit the very top (approx. 40 stories up) via a public tour.
Set smack in the heart of Center City, the views from the tower reveal the city’s scope. And with one look at the enormous stone wedding cake of a building and you’ll know why construction took 30 years.
