A “magic hour” view of the Philadelphia skyline along the Schuylkill River is seen from the southeast. On the right, appears evidence of the skyscraper building boom that occurred after 1987, when a height restriction for Philadelphia buildings was lifted. Prior to that time, architects agreed that no Center City structure would climb higher than the statue of William Penn atop City Hall.
