If you are unable to secure a reservation for Amada, an excellent back-up option is Bar Ferdinand in Northern Liberties, another tapas restaurant, where the food is similarly amazing and the atmosphere is simply awesome.
The delicious small plates — from $4 - $9 — run the gamut from tuna confit empanadas and monkfish and pork belly pinchos to a crisp quail, spinach and arugala salad or sautéed mussels with chorizo and fried capellini. For a cocktail, be sure to try the Abeja cocktail — it's made with vodka, honey water and fresh-squeezed orange juice. Delicious!
