Henry Chapman Mercer, a Harvard-educated millionaire, designed and constructed this unique mansion made entirely of reinforced concrete in 1910. Located in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, outside Philadelphia, Fonthill was built from the inside out, without using blueprints.
