Benjamin Franklin Parkway

The grand Benjamin Franklin Parkway was built to connect Fairmount Park with the center of Philadelphia. This gracious boulevard stretches from City Hall to the Philadelphia Museum of Art (top of photo), and its design was inspired by the Avenue des Champs-Elysées in Paris.
