Philadelphia’s Chinese Friendship Gate, straddling 10th Street just north of Arch Street, is 40-foot-tall and is the first authentic gate ever constructed by Chinese artisans outside of China. The gate is located in Chinatown, the residential and commercial hub of the city’s Asian community.
