Latin American and Caribbean food is the specialty of this neighborhood favorite that is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week. Start off with the chorizo (sausage) and arepa (cornmeal patty) appetizer or the chicken empanadas. If you like beef, you will love the churrasco argentino or colombiano.
Mixto's fun atmosphere comes complete with a full bar that was noted this year for best mojitos and sangria. If you prefer a non-alcoholic beverage, try a batido de frutas (fruit smoothy) made with imported Latin American fruits.
