Appalachian Mountain Club Details Join a group hike into the Pennsylvania Highlands, where you’ll find some friendly faces, as well as the vast forests of the Big Woods. But hiking and backpacking aren’t the only ways this established outdoor club enjoys the outdoors.

You can bring your bicycle for a ride along the river, stopping in one of the series of historic towns for lunch, or take a paddle out onto the water for an overnight canoe camping trip.
