The Game Experience at Citizens Bank Park
Opened in 2004, the new stadium is one of the best in baseball. Awesome sight lines mean there's not a bad seat in the house.
Ashburn Alley, the in-stadium entertainment complex beyond the outfield features a Memory Lane of Phillies lore, batting and throwing games, and tons of great food.
Meanwhile, Citizens Bank Park is one of the most kid-friendly ball parks in the country. At the Phanatic Fun Zone, youngsters can enjoy the largest play area for kids in the Major Leagues. Here, kids can build their own Phanatic, rock climb and enjoy dollar dogs and soft drinks all game long.
Food
But where the ballpark really excels is when it comes to food. Recently voted Best Ballpark Eats by the first ever Food Network Awards, Citizens Bank Park is a veritable gustatory adventure.
Look out for the long lines waiting for an order of delicious crab fries at Chickie's and Pete's, the famous cheesesteaks at Campo's, sinfully amazing roast pork sandwiches at Tony Luke's, authentic Philadelphia hoagies at Planet Hoagies, and the creative cheesesteak variation from Chestnut Hill's McNally's that is the Schmitter.
