PHILADELPHIA, June 13, 2007 - Philadelphia’s most popular historic attractions can be found in several different neighborhoods, including Old City, Independence Mall and Society Hill. To educate visitors about all there is to do in this area, the Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation (GPTMC) conducted a seven-month research and planning project. This comprehensive marketing study of Historic Philadelphia was funded by a $144,000 grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Partners in the study:
