LAKE NOCKAMIXON WHITEWATER RELEASE. The State Department of Conservation and Natural Resources releases water from Lake Nockamixon into the Tohickon Creek in Bucks County. This bi-annual event thrills whitewater enthusiasts, kayakers and canoeists alike. www.dcnr.state.pa.us

COOPER-AMERIHEALTH BRIDGE CHALLENGE. Drawing almost 3,000 runners last year and growing rapidly, this 10K foot race and two-mile bridge walk back and forth across the Benjamin Franklin Bridge is one of the best-attended 10K runs around.
