Delaware County Road Runner's Club is a great way to get familiar with road and trail running in the region around Philadelphia, Wilmington and South Jersey.
Anyone and everyone is invited to join the Delaware County Road Runners Club on one of their regular weekly runs in and around Delaware County Pennsylvania. More than 200 runners belong and it's one of the oldest running clubs in the Philadelphia area.
Running is not required! The schedule, which lists activities six days a week, includes plenty of events for walkers too, so people of all ages and skill level can find something that fits.
Keep current with the group's newsletter, Keeping Contact, which features articles about various members and thier racing times, as well as an extensive race calendar.
COME PREPARED
There is no fee to join to club, although donations are accepted.
DON'T MISS
Delaware County High Schools' cross country championship every October, and the Junior Development Track Meet for athletes age 18 and under in June.
