Join us at Moonstone Arts Center for an evening of discussion about self-discovery and identity with author Thulani Davis, as she speaks about her gripping memoir My Confederate Kinfolk: A Twenty-First Century Freedwoman Discovers Her Roots. Davis’ story chronicles her family’s lineage, ties to slavery and the making of “race” in America. The discussion will be led by distinguished historian Dr. Robert F. Engs.
The conversation will continue with drinks and hor d'oeuvres at Time’s Bohemian Lounge.
