The birthplace of freedom

There is another revolution taking place in Philadelphia, and history will never be the same. Literally.

In recent years, Independence Mall, the heart of the city’s historic district, has undergone a major makeover with the addition of major new attraction… the new Liberty Bell Center … the new National Constitution Center… the new Independence Visitor Center.

But that’s not all. Along with the Mall’s new look comes a new emphasis on the undertold stories of the African-American experience in colonial Philadelphia.
