Insider Tip
Simply put, Dock Street supports the enjoyment of beer. So much so that they sell "growlers" (large pitchers) to fill and refill with their signature brews to take home.
So fill up a growler with Dock Street's Amber Ale and come back for more!
Dock Street Brewery is the newest addition to the growing West Philadelphia neighborhood. Located on a sunny corner across from Cedar Park, Dock Street is a great spot for alfresco beer and gourmet pizza.
With a menu full of ingredients from local, sustainable businesses, and a lounge area perfect for sampling the new beers on tap, Dock Street has quickly become a neighborhood favorite.
The Menu
Beer is the operative term at Dock Street. A rotation of six hand-crafted beers is always on tap, usually including three year-round styles, two seasonals and an experimental brew (we like the "Bohemian Pilsner" best).
But your meal certainly doesn't need to end with beer. A full menu of gourmet pizzas, paninis and salads more than satisfies every time. And nearly half of the options are vegetarian- or vegan-friendly, so more diners can have a great meal at Dock Street.
The brie pizza is a great vegetarian option. It's a light, chewy and flavorful variation on your classic pizza, topped with rosemary, walnuts and fresh pears. Trust us — it gets better with every bite.
Or for a more carnivorous meal, try the Flammenkuche pizza, made with gorgonzola, rosemary and apple-smoked bacon.
