Friday Night Flights
Don’t miss Friday Night Flights at Ristorante Panorama’s wine bar. You’ll enjoy six to eight selected wines highlighting a specific theme, region or importer. It’s a casual, informative happy hour that includes cheese, hors d’oeuvres and a wine tasting discussion with sommelier William Eccleston and a guest representative from each week’s region or importer. The unique wine experience happens every Friday from 6 - 8 p.m. $15 in advance.
Ristorante Panorama is an award-winning restaurant located just off the beaten path in the Old City neighborhood of Philadelphia.
The menu is full of contemporary yet authentic Italian cuisine such as homemade pastas, tender veal and daily seafood specialties.
Simple starters like a Prosciutto di Parma salad and sautéed escargot transition well into delicious pastas ranging from an orecchiette with calamari and tiger shrimp to a pillowy mix of potato and ricotta gnocchi. There are also several excellent entrees starring veal, chicken and fish.
In the meantime, the wine list offers over 120 wines by the glass and has received national recognition on several occasions.
The restaurant is located in the Penn’s View Hotel, a charming boutique hotel that caters to its guests’ every whim.
