The Blue Cross RiverRink will close for the season on Sunday, March 2, 2008.
Enjoy a rejuvenating outdoor adventure at the Blue Cross RiverRink, an Olympic-sized ice rink at Penn’s Landing. Take in the breathtaking wintertime view overlooking the Delaware River and Benjamin Franklin Bridge.
Now in its 14th season, RiverRink will be returning to its original location at Columbus Boulevard and Market Street, where it will remain open for three months for ice skating merriment.
Don’t worry if it’s a little brisk — RiverRink features a heated pavilion with a snack bar and game room to keep you warm. There’s also plenty of special events to keep you coming back each week — a live DJ or karaoke is featured every Friday and Saturday night to really keep you moving.
The RiverRink also hosts several fundraisers, including the Stockings for Kids program and the Sled Skating program for children with disabilities.
