Fans of science fiction and classic films will love Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination, a new, innovative exhibit dedicated to all things Star Wars.
The Franklin Institute Science Museum hosts a mixture of artifacts from both real-world science and the six Star Wars films — such as Luke Skywalker's original landspeeder from Episode IV. More than 100 artifacts are on display, including plenty of light sabers.
Meanwhile, more than 20 interactive exhibits will put you in the roles of Han Solo, Princess Leia and C-3PO. You can even pilot a replica of the Millennium Falcon, taking the spacecraft on a tour of the galaxies while speeding by stars and comets.
The exhibit also explores the modern, cutting-edge technologies that could someday make the fantasy world of Star Wars a reality. Children of all ages will love learning about space exploration, the Hubble telescope and the not-so-faraway future of hover crafts.
So visit the Franklin Institute to battle Stormtroopers, chart your course across the galaxies and fall in love with Star Wars all over again.
VIP Hotel Package
The Franklin Institute has partnered with 10 hotels to offer an exclusive Star Wars VIP Hotel Package, which includes VIP, un-timed tickets to the exhibition — so you can visit Star Wars whenever you'd like. A great deal since this exhibit is going to be extremely popular.
