Holiday Season Kick-Off
Friday, November 27; 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Enjoy the stories, sights and sounds of the season when Santa arrives to kick-off the holidays! Bring your holiday wish list to Santa for a free ride on the Philadelphia Park Liberty Carousel, and for an additional fee, you can also have your photo taken with Santa.

When night falls after the festivities, enjoy the park aglow with thousands of festive, twinkling lights — then take a ride on the Lightning Bolt Express train (tickets required)!

Holidays in the Square
November 27 – 29; Saturdays and Sundays in December; 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Meet Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and Elfreth the Elf in Franklin Square. Bring your holiday wish list for a free ride on the Philadelphia Park Liberty Carousel and visit the man of the season and his trusty elf.

Then enjoy Storytime with Mrs. Claus, where the lady of the season shares holiday stories to the delight of young and old alike.

Franklin Square Holiday Lights
Tuesday, December 1, 5:30 p.m. – December 31

Beginning with a Holiday Lighting Ceremony at 5:30 pm on December 1, Franklin Square will be sparkling for the holidays with thousands of festive, twinkling lights all month long.

Come out to the Square on December 1 to kick-off the holiday glow!

Colonial Holiday Caroling
Friday, November 27 and Saturday, December 19, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Enjoy this free caroling performance in Franklin Square where visitors can sing along with their favorite holiday songs as they stroll through the Square. Then take a ride on the Lightning Bolt Express Train, a magical ride around the historic Square (tickets required).
