The Phillies Go Green!
The Phillies are leading the charge in supporting our environment by becoming the first Major League team to join the Environmental Protection Agency's "Green Power Partnership" program.
As part of the Phillies' green initiative, Citizens Bank Park now sells locally grown produce and organic foods and utilizes LED lighting and recycled products whenever possible. To top it all off, the Phillies have purchased 20 million kilowatt-hours of Green-e Energy, the equivalent to planting 100,000 trees.
So help the Phillies go green with a trip to Citizens Bank Park! To learn more, visit Red Goes Green.
Award-winning Local Beers
Did we mention the beer? Citizens Bank Park is home to one of the best craft beer selections of any stadium in Major League Baseball.
And what can we say? Beer and baseball go together like, well, beer and baseball.
So next time you're there, pass on the Miller Lite and try one of Philadelphia's esteemed local beers like a Yards, Sly Fox, Troegs, Victory or Flying Fish.

The Fightin' Phils
For the first time in 14 years, the Phillies advanced to the Major League playoffs in 2007, taking a faithful and spirited Philadelphia fan base with them. And now, the Phils look stronger than ever and will defend their NL East Championship in 2008.
With Jimmy Rollins, Ryan Howard and Chase Utley leading at the plate and in the field, and pitchers Cole Hamels and Brett Myers taking charge on the mound, the 2008 Phillies will once again be an incredibly fun team to watch.
The Game Experience at Citizens Bank Park
Meanwhile, you couldn't ask for a better place to watch the game than at Citizens Bank Park. Click here to watch a slideshow of a game at Citizens Bank Park.
Opened in 2004, the new stadium is one of the best in baseball. Awesome sight lines mean there's not a bad seat in the house. The stadium has lush natural grass and a view of the Philadelphia skyline. And the crowd is always ready to "root, root, root for the home team."
Ashburn Alley, the in-stadium entertainment complex beyond the outfield features a Memory Lane of Phillies lore, batting and throwing games, and tons of great food.
Meanwhile, Citizens Bank Park is one of the most kid-friendly ball parks in the country. At the Phanatic Fun Zone, youngsters can enjoy the largest play area for kids in the Major Leagues. But that’s just the beginning: kids can build their own Phanatic, rock climb and enjoy dollar dogs and soft drinks all game long.
Food
But where the ballpark really excels is when it comes to food. Recently voted Best Ballpark Eats by the first ever Food Network Awards, Citizens Bank Park is a veritable gustatory adventure.
Look out for the long lines waiting for an order of delicious crab fries at Chickie's and Pete's, the famous cheesesteaks at Rick's Steaks, sinfully amazing roast pork sandwiches at Tony Luke's, authentic Philadelphia hoagies at Planet Hoagies, and the creative cheesesteak variation from Chestnut Hill's McNally's that is the Schmitter.
