Spiral Q Puppet Theater is a political street theater in the tradition of the renowned Bread and Puppet Theater of the 1960s. It works with community groups to build puppets and create socially significant spectacle events.
Every Fall it stages a large parade and pageant called “Peoplehood” in Clark Park in University City. It offers many other activities throughout the year. Its workshop is also a puppet museum, which may be seen by appointment.
