Kennett Underground Railroad Heritage Trail Tour
Learn about defining time in American history
Take a step back in time and experience the inspiring story of how slaves in the years prior to the Civil War sought their liberty by escaping along the Underground Railroad, which ran right through Philadelphia. Guided hour-long tours via trolleybus depart from the Chester County Visitors Center and will take you past "stations" of underground railroads, and offer presentations at the Kennett History Station.
