Insider Tip
Juicy peaches are ready in July, and Asian pears are available in September. If you haven't tried them you don't know what you're missing!

Support the Food Trust
The Food Trust works to build strong communities through healthy food. With your support, they educate more than 50,000 children in low-income neighborhoods about healthy eating and nutrition, manage a network of 20+ farmers' markets, and advocate for statewide policies that support family farms and make fruits and vegetables more accessible to children and families.

While many neighborhoods have already been positively impacted, there is still much work to be done. Your support will help the Food Trust continue to ensure that everyone has access to affordable, nutritious food.

Find an open-air market in just about any neighborhood in any city throughout Philadelphia and The Countryside, including Philadelphia, Norristown, Phoenixville and Chester. From June through November, local farmers pile tables with an amazing variety of beautiful, locally grown fruits and vegetables.

Fresh foods cover the spectrum from affordable, high quality fruits to organically grown heirloom vegetables. This rainbow of fruits and vegetables is set off by sweet pastries and breads fresh from Amish ovens. Honey, cut flowers, milk, eggs, cheeses, meats, dried herbs, pumpkins and other foods are available along with the abundant offerings of beautiful produce.

A few stand-outs include:
