Insider Tip
The café at Rembrandt's features two large screen (42" and 50") HD Plasma TVs to complement the two large HD TVs in the original bar, a new oak bar with a turn-of-the-century kneeboard (originally from the old Strawbridge and Clothier on Market Street) and swiveling turnstile columns which display our liquor selections.
Rembrandt's, a casual restaurant, café and bar located in the Fairmount / Art Museum Area of Philadelphia, is a great option for a variety of meals.
Modeled after the brown bars and cafés of Amsterdam known throughout Europe for their antique charm, warmth, inviting atmosphere and friendly but stimulating conversation, Rembrandt's in Philadelphia is thought of in the same light and will have you happy, smiling and chatting in no time.
The kitchen serves complete menus for lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch with a wide array of soups, salads, appetizers and a selection of seafood, steaks, chicken, pasta and vegetarian entrées. There’s also a late-night menu.
But look out for the wood-fired, brick oven pizzas — they’re outstanding. Winners of Best of Philly® 2006 for Best Brick Oven Pizzas, these thin crust beauties are guaranteed to hit the spot.
Rembrandt’s is only a five-minute walk to the Philadelphia Museum of Art and a five-minute drive (or 20-minute walk) to/from Center City.
