Outsider Tip
Cabin four offers the best view of the rapids during the March and November whitewater releases.
Volunteer
Organized groups can participate in volunteer activities.
Spend a night under the stars or in a cabin at Tohickon Valley Park, a hillside park overlooking the Tohickon Creek. With 22 family or individual sites and two campsites specifically for groups, Tohickon Valley Park is an outdoor home-away-from-home.
Day-trippers can hike craggy trails, swim in the pool during the summer months, or just pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the rustic setting. Fishing is also a good option and so is birding.
Twice a year the gentle Tohickon Creek becomes a challenge for whitewater enthusiasts, turning out adrenalin-pumping class three and four rapids.
COME PREPARED
There are fees for use of pool and campsites. Pets must be leashed and it's BYO-firewood (bring your own firewood).
DON'T MISS
Every spring and fall, whitewater releases produce challenging rapids in Tohickon Creek.
