Making Things Bright
Set in beautiful Bucks County, The Pearl S. Buck House’s Festival of Trees is a beautiful and charitable celebration of the holiday season. This year marks the 31st anniversary of this festive holiday display.
With holiday decorations throughout the House and more than a dozen trees beautifully decorated by community organizations and businesses, the House is truly something to experience during the holiday season.
Visitors may enjoy a holiday raffle and, through December 15, they have the opportunity to vote for their favorite tree.

About the House
Set on 60 acres in Bucks County, the 19th-century Green Hills Farm is a monument to the woman who made it home for 40 years: Pearl Buck.
Here, Buck wrote nearly 100 novels, children’s books and works of nonfiction while raising seven adopted children and caring for many others. In addition to her charitable efforts, she became the first American woman to receive the Pulitzer and Nobel Prizes for literature.
