Widely regarded as one of the city’s finest Vietnamese restaurants, Vietnam Restaurant offers diners a welcome respite from the fluorescent glare of Chinatown’s bustling streets. Its interior even has a calming effect — an atmosphere of warmth, charm and casual elegance prevails throughout.
Vietnam has been around for years and has the regulars to show for it. Locals swear that this is one of the best restaurants in Chinatown and we’re guessing you’ll agree after visiting. Its popularity means that there can sometimes be a wait for a table, but the wait is never too long and always worthwhile.
Be sure to try the vegetarian egg rolls, spring rolls and the varieties of bun noodles. The grilled meatballs, which you can get in a variety of dishes, the lime glazed chicken and the barbeque shrimp are also highly recommended.
