Outsider Tip
Lake Nockamixon is nearby, so after your ride be sure to head over to the lake and enjoy some sailing and scenery as well.
Call to Action
The Haycock Riding Club, a non profit organization that seeks to keep kids interested in riding, is always looking for volunteers and support. Call the stables for more information.
Family trail rides are a specialty, but couples can also be sure they’ll get courteous treatment at Haycock Stables Inc. There are mounts for riders of all ages and sizes, whether seven or 77 years old, and large groups are not a problem.
Rides last one to two hours, and you’ll get outfitted with a western saddle and a hard hat. Once you get to know your horse, feel free to request a favorite.
COME PREPARED
Call ahead for reservations and appointments. Wear jeans or long pants and hard-soled shoes.
DON'T MISS
Schooling Horse Shows, English and Western style riding and speed events, starting the end of June.
